A Message from the Club President

In 1971, a small group of committed business and community leaders came together to form the Davie/Cooper City Rotary Club. Located in the heart of horse country, our meetings are just minutes from downtown Fort Lauderdale, and the beaches.

You are likely to find a unique combination of men and women, such as cowboys, lawyers, bankers, philanthropists, sun worshipers, educators, and other businesspersons at our weekly luncheon meetings.

While we are not a social club or just a lunch club, our enthusiastic weekly luncheon meetings are opportunities for our members and guests to come together for lively fun, great food, and rejuvenation of the spirit.

We do not take ourselves too seriously, however, the Davie/Cooper City Rotary Club is serious about honoring Rotary’s goal of “Service Above Self,” as demonstrated by the number of service projects that we have implemented to serve our local community.

Our club has always been open and receptive to new members, realizing that their participation is vital to keep our club alive and growing. If you are looking for a club where your membership can make a difference, or just looking for a great place to make up a missed meeting, we hope you will consider our club.  You won’t regret it!
